She considers the shelter her home. If let loose during the walk, she comes back to her pen on her own. Baltika walks nicely on a leash, but likes to be stroked more than going for a walk. She is a large mixed breed bitch who really likes people and sausages... and other nice treats that the volunteers bring her, of course. Generally speaking, Baltika really enjoys food. And being cuddled. And also to play with all kinds of things: plastic bottles, towels, old rags, fallen branches, sticks, balls, gloves, plastic bags, shovels for distributing food, scoops for cleaning, watering buckets... just like a puppy, she sees a potential toy in virtually anything. She mainly gets along well with other dogs, lately sharing her wooden house with a small male terrier Kiko, although she sometimes may show dominance towards some bitches. This cheerful and curious bitch is seeking for a firm, but fair and emotinal owners who will know how to give her a lot of love and attention.
